Nintendo Switch gets system update

SwitchThe North American website of Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo Switch will receive a system update at the launch of the new Online service.
Update 6.0.0 launches on September 19 together with Nintendo Switch Online and gets a few new features for the system. After the update is installed, players will no longer be able to unlink their account on the Nintendo Switch. This allows players to install the new update to unlink their Switch’s account. Once the update is released, the Nintendo eShop will be temporarily disabled for maintenance after which players can purchase a membership.

Previously, by a group of hackers was outdated what is included in the system update. This will include new icons that players can set for their profiles. Among these new icons there are also controller icons, which may suggest that Nintendo will release new controllers in the future.
