Ubisoft has announced what players get from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey when they buy the season pass.
One of the things that players receive with a season pass is a remaster of Assassin’s Creed 3. The game is set in America in the eighteenth century, at the beginning of the American Revolution. The remaster – which also becomes available separately – has to appear in March 2019 and can be played in 4K and HDR on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC.
In December, seasonal pass holders First Blade, an adventure of “the first hero who wears the iconic hidden knife and changes history” appears. The second expansion will be released in the spring of next year and is called The Fate of Atlantis. Here players visit the legendary city sent from myths and fight against divine enemies.
Players will receive the season pass when they purchase the Gold, Ultimate, Spartan and Pantheon versions of the game. The season pass can also be purchased separately, but no price is known yet.
Extra content will also be available free of charge to Odyssey, which includes new stories and in-game events. There is an episodic quest called The Lost Tales of Greece, in which “familiar faces and new characters from the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey occur”. Every week a powerful new ship or killer appears in the game that can be hunted. There will also be daily and weekly contracts available.
Also the Discovery Tour mode returns from Origins. The mode allows players to discover Greece and provides information about all kinds of events and buildings from that time, without conflicts or a time limit. The mode should appear sometime after the release of the game. Finally, there are also new monstrous creatures to defeat and a New Game Plus mode after the launch.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey appears on October 2 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
